A Ghost of a Misery

Absence of Misery is not Presence of Joy.
-Stupidosaur

Absence of Joy causes Misery Of Not Having Joy.
-Stupidosaur

So Misery arises from Absence of Misery
-Stupidosaur

Misery can be created from Absence of Misery
Misery can be destroyed.
Hence by destroying one misery while creating another,
one can conjure illusion of its conversion
-Stupidosaur

There is no such thing as Law of Conservation of Misery
-Stupidosaur

Shut up u Stupid Guy! We all love to bask in our misery. Don't make us realise there is none to begin with.

Heheh did you notice, just by displaying it in itlaics and 'centre-justifying' it, and leaving lots of space in between, even rubbish can be made to seem like something profound!

maryum last line padha nahin kya?
they sound or rather 'look' deep only because of the italics and other formatting.

Otherwise it was just some rubbish generated in less than five minutes. (Because of reasons you know, I did not have more time yesterday :)

What happened is...

I was feeling kinda miserable for a moment. So opened the blog, hoping to kinda get cheered by doing that favourite activity of now-a-days.

But did not have anything to blog really.

So just wrote down the first thing about my then state.

I was feeling sorta miserable. But there was nothibg actually miserable going on at that time. Hmm so I thought maybe its just that I am not 'particularly joyful' at the moment. Not 'actually miserable'. So I concluded "absence of joy was I actually presence of misery". But I did not like the sound of it so twisted it around before writing.

Then I thought, no I am actually feeling miserable. Without any apparent cause though. But wait, we feel miserable when we don't have what we want huh? And at that moment I was not having a particularly joyful moment. There! I ranted out the second sentence of post in my head.

Hmm now the first two sentences definitely meant the third sentence just by momentary observation.

So that was like creation of misery out of nothing!

Which reminded me of law of conservation of mass/energy, how mass/energy cant be created, destroyed blah blah.

So I decided to stretch it, drag it rather, futher in that direction. So I 'contrived' the last two rather unnatural feeling and meaningless 'pearls of wisdom'. There I had the 'post' ready! Ab bas formatting karv di, and it even started 'looking like sagely sayings'!

And since just like you I too did not like its implication (to those who dont know the above real story behind it) that there is no such actual thing as misery, I added the next para. And its kinda true we like to think and portray we are more miserable than we actually are, isn't it? It gives us a kinda of feeling of martyrdom, of being a tormented sagely sufferer and we like it. sheesh!

But then I think I should add a disclaimer. True, 'Misery can arise out of lack of misery', but it can also arise out of real causes.

So as you see, I was not having any 'deep' thoughts. The thoughts were as instant and cheap to cook as maggi 2 minute noodles. Just decorating them on plate to serve on the blog took maybe five minutes :)
